From now on, all English version of Zettai Karen Children will be handled by Tsundere-chan, as I will continue on doing Chinese Version. Of course for some reasons, chinese version of Zettai Karen Children will not be updated as the same time as English version did. So every reader of chinese version please keep this in mind.

Today I have updated ZKC Chapter 266 until 273 for chinese version. 274 until 275 will be on working status soon on translating. I will try to finish them ASAP after this notice.

Zettai Karen Children English is transferring ownership (kind of)

Hello everyone. I have an important announcement to make. This is going to be the final English Zettai Karen Children release under JS scans.

This isn't really a "goodbye" so I’m not going to write a campy touchy-feely goodbye note. You will still be able to read Zettai Karen Children and the members of JS are still scanlating it. We are simply fusing into a larger group named Imperial scans for this project. We will retain stylistic control of it and everything that happens at Imperial goes through us. The cleaning and typesetting style will be the same as the JS releases. I expect there will be no changes except where you download the chapter from.

But with the help of the Imperial staff members, we will be able to release HQ within 1-2 days of getting the raw! And they have a big site and a forum so you will be able to communicate with us better in the future.

Status of the Work This Week (June 21)

Sorry for delayed the chapters, as I, Spikey2713, has some issues on uploading the works into a certain FileSharing website that has been blocked in my country last week. It was Megaupload that was listed in the banned list make by our government (Malaysia). Then I got much distracted by the actions made by them, and was in the angry mood. I even participated in posting the voices in the Facebook so much. (http://www.facebook.com/DontBlockFS)

I was able to find someone outside the country to do the upload into Megaupload. So everything is back to normal for a meantime (If government won't do anymore censorship on other FS such like Mediafire). It just take more time to do so.

Well now, back to topic. Now we are working on Zettai Karen Children 262. I can't do any guarantee that I can finish it this week. But I will try my best to maintain the release of Zettai Karen Children as long as possible. Please support this series like usual (^^)/

Announcement

After being through many things around...Zettai Karen Children chapter 256 & 257 are finally done... (I'm not joking, these days were like a hell to me, and other members too). I heard about js06's situation but I glad he's safe & sound. Surely everyone will feel the same as mine.

Now I have a bad news and good news. Bad news is that one of our members, Lovelychildren_fan is having medical treatments and is scheduled to have operations in month July. For the sake of her, I will not let her do the works such as darkening job or cleaning. I just want to wish her to rest well and fully recover her health condition. Everyone please write a message to wish her well too.

Good news is, we have found a new member who is living in the same country as mine and able to do the cleaning and filtering for our group. His name is Kuzumi (nickname). I planned to let him help us out doing the new chapter which will be released next week. Everyone, please welcome him!!

If he is still living where he said he was living one and a half years ago, JS06 was hit during the April 27th tornado outbreak. We do not normally have contact with him outside of Mangahelpers, so at this moment we do not know his status. We hope he has just lost power and is fine. However, most people in his area have regained power and internet access by now.

I have seen his Mangahelpers thread, so I know his first name, and thankfully I did not see it on the list of confirmed deaths in his county.

Status update!

We haven't released Zettai Karen Children in over a week, so I thought we'd let everyone know our progress.

There will be a double release (again) this week. We had a few hiccups while cleaning 256, but 257 was cleaned entirely in two days.

256 status: We will typeset later tonight/tomorrow (for all of you non-Americans), once Spikey has had a good night's rest.
257: Waiting for JS06 to translate, and then we will typeset.
